A trip to the mountain peak of Hong Kong City can be a wonderful experience especially during a clear and cloudless night. Even though the queue by the ticket counter can be long plus having to wait for an empty spot by the viewing platform, it is worth taking the trip to see what everyone is anticipating. At the right time from 7 to 10pm, this is where most of the highrises and buildings are being lit up. From a distance between the tall buildings you can see the busy harbour with lots of advertisement and lighting reflecting on the water while boat passes by along the river. As the scene stretched further beyond, the building get lower in scale and slowly fade into the horizon of thin cloud.
The Peak Tramp of Hong Kong, covers a long history back in May 30th, 1888 after opening for commercial operation to take passenger to the peak. At the top, tourist can visit the history galleries while enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of shopping in the center. There are also variety of restaurants which offer a wide spectacular view over the city.
