Golden Hour
“I like the quietness and stillness of this hour,
the golden hour in which the sun is setting down.
As I lay down by the wide open grass,
hard to believe, fast is a day gone by.
I stretched my eyes beyond the horizon,
we are, but busy builder.
Not ’til the time we finally surrender,
Will we find rest from all our toil.
Soar will we!
the time we cease striving.
High and up we’ll be,
where troubles are far and small.”
